Former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman is Alabama’s political prisoner. For those that think democracy reigns in the United States, do not continue to read and explore the Siegelman case or you would possibly become disillusioned with your perceived reality.
What has happened to the state since Siegelman was governor? Alabama has been pushed into the toilet and now it is time to flush. How many corrupt politicians are currently in dire straits? Apparently more than can be counted on one hand.
Why was/is Siegelman so dangerous to the current band of thugs? Allegedly he held information that would have cleaned up the massive drug, and child trafficking that has a stranglehold on the landscape of Alabama. Even the FBI is allegedly afraid or unwilling to clamp down on the massively deep seated corruption.
When Don Siegelman speaks; his captor reacts; afraid his truth will reach the light. So they lock him up in solitary confinement to instill the stranglehold of silence.
Backs have been turned and eyes shut on many murders throughout the state of lawyers, business people and informants who knew too much or allegedly sought to out the gig. Murders that have been labeled suicide. One of my own former attorney’s who based on what I observed as involvement with dangerous and corrupt practices “committed suicide”. His family had the death investigated twice, knowing full well it was not as the officials claimed, a suicide.
Alabama is now being controlled by a one party government where many politicians are only in public service to make their fortune from illegal cash and property grabs. With this single party, there are no checks and balances as everyone covers for their own.
Now an emasculated Governor who speaks out of both sides of his mouth is leading Alabama further into the bowels of Alabama’s sewers with no end nor relief in sight.
Hey Alabama, the gig is up!
